In the 2023 NCAA basketball tournament, these teams get a chance to break through and become the first No. 5 seed to win the national championship: Duke Blue Devils, Miami Hurricanes, St. Mary's Gaels and San Diego State Aztecs. In the first round, Duke faces Oral Roberts, which reached the Sweet Sixteen in 2021 with wins against Ohio State and Florida.
