Mara Manzano - Sometimes

Sometimes I stare at you but you never see
When you’re watching TV or preparing food for me
Sometimes I get annoyed at you when we eat
Because of the too much rice you put in discreet

Sometimes I don’t understand on where you get the care
When you bought the chips I just checked, they’re full of air
Sometimes you push me too much to do what I’m afraid to do
I get mad but I realized, I’ve done the impossible because of you

Sometimes I get pissed at your mood swings
And we fight every so often due to petty things
Sometimes I think on what could have I done to deserve you
I still don’t have the reason and I still don’t have a clue

Sometimes I cry when you’re down and lonely
I hate the thought of you being sad, my one and only
Sometimes when doubts of you cross your mind
Just think that for me, you are one of a kind

Sometimes I wish you could see yourself through my eyes
Because maybe through that, you will realize
That you are amazing and though life is not a piece of cake
Please know I’m here to stick around just in case you will break

Sometimes I just want to lay and get lazy with you
Play computer games all day and when they win, together we say boo
Sometimes I look at you and see every beautiful thing
But most of the time, every time, I see us exchanging those wedding rings.
