Let us not go back to the past
Please prove to me that this will last
The memories of us being ‘just friends’ before
Have occurred and it made me remember once more

It’s not that it wasn’t happy, don’t get me wrong
What we had in the past is actually what made us strong
Maybe I just don’t want to reminisce the negativity
I’m telling you this for you to see my stand clearly

I’m very happy now, I don’t want this to fade
But if ever, I know we will do everything to save this love we made
I’ve repeated countless times how thankful I am for you
You’re the answered prayer and I can’t wait to say ‘I do’

What I said might be too early to say
But I can’t control it if I truly feel this way
Time will tell and it will make us stronger than ever
I can foresee how this will go and Love, I can actually see forever.
