More than half of the planet's 37 largest groundwater aquifers are being depleted. Surface-based freshwater bodies are drying up. Pairing this with increased demand from growing global populations and poor agriculture practices, we have a dire situation on our hands.

With the current rate of consumption, two-thirds of the world's population will face water shortages by the year 2025. No solution exists which solves for both water purification and freshwater generation.
