Running, running over the distance
Watch the sky, watch the road up ahead
I set this pace, I can cover this distance
I keep my eyes on the road up ahead

Storm clouds appear around the bend
They're coming this way
I got to increase my pace, move faster
Hope nothing gets in my way

But I look around and I wish I could stop
If I pull down I will never get up
Sometimes everything just gets on top
On top of me

I'll try to loose this race one day

I know the truth but it's so hard to face
