Mandy Lee - Thread between 'friends'

I am dead,
I am dying.
I give up
without trying.

I am lost,
but not found.
In this place,
I lose ground.

We are near,
and yet far.
Is this what
friends really are?

We were close,
now we drift.
Falling fast,
into the rift.

I'd like to stay,
but we must go.
We must follow,
the changing flow.

I hope we find,
the hidden light.
To finally end,
this painful blight.
