Mandy Lee - Repentance

I know I turned
my back on you,
that I don't deny.
But then you gave up all hope,
without even a try.

Now i see the wrong i did,
and yet i can't erase it.
I can only try my best,
to stand up and really face it.

But then you too
have a part to play,
in this fault we let leak.
For even though I started it,
you let your mind freak.

You put up a wall,
a mask to hide your face.
Hid your emotions,
no one did you embrace.
