Mandi June - Soul Kiss

It's not clear what our rebirth is to be;
A butterfly or raging storm?
To float o'er blooms, or violent sea;
One soul in different form.

To be comprised of fragile, weightless dust,
And tiny cells engaged in flight.
To glide through indigo and rust,
Ascending toward the light.

Then revengeful darkness builds from sky
To shroud in shadow all that breathe.
Condensing as the strikes defy,
And frighten those beneath.

Manifest these things with conscious mold
And, shape the colors made of bliss.
Emotions, even ones untold,
Control the soul's next kiss.
