My soul is restless
I feel it stirring in my breast
As if it wants to escape
But I'm keeping it chained
It can't keep running, it needs to rest

The music that used to soothe
Seems to aggravate
the alcohol that used to anaethetise
Tastes bitter and serves no purpose
Seems to exacerbate

The drugs that dull the pain
Hold no more attraction
Your arms and voice
Are my only satisfaction

I don't want to be alone
I don't want anyone else
What have you done
I'm used to being by myself
