Can you stand at the edge of life, looking over the precipice,
Be willing to take that final leap and hope the next life will bring more joy than sorrow, more love than hurt, more laughter than tears,
Can you stand there and then turn back and try again in this life?

Can you look at the bliss of nothingness –
No pain, no hurt, no war, no famine, no abuse, no hate
Nothing! And then turn back to this world and live a full, happy and whole life?
Is that possible?

Can it be possible to come so close to the end, be pulled back and live the life you were meant to live?
Won’t something inside change? Wont there be something holding you back?
Believing you don’t deserve any happiness or joy – the next break is just around the corner?

Or is the opposite true? Do you come so close just to meet with angels?
To be shown your own strength and value and because of the close proximity of death, lead a happier, fuller more loving life?
Appreciating that second chance, the fact that there were people who thought you worth saving

Can you shout in the wind to all those nay-sayers – I stood at the edge, but I did not let you push me!
I climbed back up and now I’m stronger than before!
No matter how hard you try you will NEVER get me down? !
