Mandi Ducroq - Breathe

I can breathe again
Without each breath causing pain
There is an ache in my soul
But I am learning to live with that
There was a time I thought I would die from the pain
Death seemed preferable to living
But here I am, battered and bruised
With a piece of my soul missing
But I am able to breathe again
Able to laugh
Able to continue this life
