Man on fast expecting Goddess to appear

Kanpur, Apr 16 (ANI): A devotee based in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, has claimed that he has been told by goddess Sharda to take ‘Samadhi’, a state of meditative consciousness or trance. Sudhakar Shukla has been fasting since April 8 in the hope of seeing the goddess. He believes the goddess will appear before him on April 17. He was quoted as saying, “I’ve taken a ‘Samadhi’, as the goddess came in a dream and asked me to do it”. Shukla said he would only end his fast when he unites with the divine.
