I look and see you, crying in the rain
You tell me what happened and say it will get better
“But things never get better” you whisper in my ear
I know I could never imagine your pain
I embrace you in my arms, holds you tight
Wishing to keep you with me forever
As I look upon you, as I see you crying
I realize that you are more beautiful than ever before
But I’ll silence my voice, still my heart
Hold you tighter and shed my own tears
As I realize you will never know how much I love you tonight
