I can't
I can’t do this
Can’t let you in
Because
Then I’d have to look at myself
And I’m too scared of what I may find
I stand
Opaque window
Longing to be opened
And feel a fresh breeze
Crisp green freedom
Stirring through me
But I can’t
And I won’t
I’ll shut my eyes
And hold my breath
Until I’m ready
To wake up
