Description
Play in my mind their melodies at best,
I hold the bird does cry, my heart rejoices,
Of envy he, my heart of peaceful rest..
And then I put some thoughts on music-things
And find then all combined, alone no match
Because the female sound when her voice sings
To heaven`s best I do her notes attach.
And then I curse my luck, take my currse back
That I don`t have at home a she to hear,
But then I see my luck not all it black
For pleasure seldom had when had great cheer.
Those who among women do dayly dwell,
Their voices low may find, I`ll ever swell.
