Take with respect the giving of my loving
E`en if you prefer a different face it giving.
But practical and right in things this touching,
That face`s not always linked to love that`s moving.
And when I look at you have decency
To greet my heart though my ouside be plain.
Bring justice to your eyes; what`s right do see.
To flirt just fair your mind do not restrain.
What`s fair, not fair if not for ugly one.
Do thank those plain who give those fair a place.
Me serious take; have me with liking done
For fair is fairer looked thanks plain the face.
For were, lo, all with beauty come to earth,
Then pretty all, yes beauty has no worth.
