Louise McVicar - Living Clean Again
4 Views • Oct 28, 2014
Description
I never knew so well
How I never understood
Probably never shall
I don't know where he is
Wonder if he'll come back
And take another shot at living clean again
I met a boy last winter
He was just my age
Didn't know many people here
So he used to come around
We got to know him
Know a little of his past
But we weren't to know that the laughter wouldn't last
His mamma was on drugs
His father was in jail
His grandma tried to raise him
She tried to raise him well
Got caught up in the wrong crowd
Got caught up in some mess
He's good at table tennis - 'cause he played in Juvi'
He's good with kids cause his daughter is two
I thought that we were friends
But he left, don't know where he is
This is the story of a young man
I never knew so well
How I never understood
Probably never shall
I don't know where he is
Wonder if he'll come back
And take another shot at living clean again
