Louise McVicar - Get Out

He fell into an abbyss
Tripped over someone's soul
Took the ladder that she gave him
and climbed out of the hole.

Sometimes we get in fixes
Like we never dreamed we could
But I sure as hell don't stay there
I get out.

Walking down an empty street
Not a soul I chance to meet.
Til' I tripped through a see-through door
and found myself sprawled on the floor.
The Mafia took one look at me
decided I knew too much
So I removed myself from their fears
by pretending that I was dutch

See when problems do arise
and how true they often do
I play along with their game
and so, I think, should you.
