I said I'd have a look at a PCP for someone local.
It was bought a few years back at auction (cheap) but never tried.
The barrel was resting on the cylinder, so accuracy would have been terrible. I did consider straightening it, but my initial attempts required more force than I expected, so I just reoriented it upward. After complete reseal and clean, lubrication rust removal it works OK. If it was mine I'd probably have a go at the barrel, but I needed to check there was nothing else wrong with it first. Bagnal and Kirkwood did their usual fast turnround, on full service set, so picked up gun Thursday afternoon, returned it Saturday.
