Lipstick Casanova - A Five Minute Goodnight

This is my five minute goodnight to you,
Tonight has been wonderful, but it can never last long enough.
The nightingale sleeps, and the night is long,
Now it's time to rest your sparkling eyes.
I'll stroke your hair and kiss your head,
And I will watch you, as we melt into the shadows, my dear,
Hand in hand as the darkness closes in.
Our journey tonight was beautiful,
And I will come to you in your dreams, to chase the night away
But it is time to go.
Goodnight my Beloved, we will meet again.
