Linda Brooks - Suicide

Description
People say it releases your pain,
I didn't know before but I think they might be right.
I decided I wanted to end my life,
After all I wasn't taking a life away
I was simply giving it back.....Wasn't I?
This is my experience
I watch the crimson tears start to fall,
As my skin parts like lips,
For the cool blade to kiss my veins,
I look in the mirror and find myself crying,
Why is that?
This is what I wanted,
To leave the world because I felt unwanted by all those I wanted.
As the blade bites deeper I start to feel dizzy.
My parents walk in,
Ashamed of what they see,
All I can think of is,
Why would they turn their backs on me?
Why would they blame me for everything?
This is what they wanted,
This is how they wanted me.
