Her lips remind me of my first silk shirt
How it stuck to my skin in summer’s heat
Revealing my best to a jealous world.

Her hair reminds me of a lion’s mane
(Her will and passion cannot be tamed)
Dressed in it alone, we both go wild.

Her love reminds me of the burning sun.
It consumed until its lights outshone
All my darkness, and keeps me in day.
