Les Flors del Montseny

The Montseny National Park has been declared a Worldwide Reserve of the Biosphere and is one of the great natural wonders of Catalonia. It consists of a mountainous massif, which lies on the border between the provinces of Vallès Oriental, Osona and la Selva and is well known for its natural beauty and spectacular scenery.

les Flors de Montseny it's a small artisanal brand of natural food they make Fig bread by using whole dry figs. they take out the stone, cut them in half and leave them to soak in muscatel and aniseed. After that they press them and this, together with almonds, is what makes up this wonderful dessert.
