Even if it's not completely dark, it's best to put your full headlights on in bad weather or use your fog lights in conditions with extreme reduced visibility. Remember that you can also use your lights to alert people to your presence. It may be tempting to wipe condensation off with your hands, but by putting your heat dial and fans on while the engine is running, this will help clear the windscreen and avoid leaving any smudges.
