Learning through the CK12 FlexBook Platform

CK-12 Foundation, a non-profit organization based in California offers customizable, free, curriculum-aligned K-12 content to meet student and teacher needs. Digital textbooks (Flexbooks) offered by CK-12 are aligned with national and state curriculum guidelines and are offered without the normal copyright restrictions that limit distribution of traditional textbooks. In addition to being easily customizable, these flexbooks offer added advantages of Web 2.0 including multi-media features (video and audio clips), better interactivity, and ability to instantly search and annotate text.
