If you feel no pain
out of your game
alone in your dreams
nothing to believe

is it all a plan
in the back of your mind
the empty road
you no longer see

when you give it all up
the hopes you had
can you trample them dead
with your own hands

if you only see dark
you turned your back
away from the sun
always on the run

no heart to beat
no breath to steal
hammer it down
nothing seems real

counting down days
you're broken are you
losing everything
its wearing you thin

still its early
the dawn can rise
feel for the lost
let the pain subside

reawaken all dreams
even if they're lies
get down to your knees
palms together in prayer

towards the night sky
the universe hears
the cry that you call
the cry that you feel

and with a falling star
faith has revealed
that with some hope
life will prevail
