The shadows come
The shadows go
Usually when I'm weak
Or feeling really low

Omens from beyond
Signs to let me know
The time is coming near
When I'll know its time to go

The shadows fade
And float through the air
I hate it when they come
When I sense them being there

I often think they've come
To take me away
Will it be now when I'm alone
Or on some other day
