I haven't heard from you in forever it seems
You've even begun to disappear from my dreams
But all of a sudden you're back in my life
And the pain is again cutting through me like a knife
I finally found someone to help me move on
And the memory of you finally seemed gone
But I still want with all of my soul
To be your friend, you still make me whole
I remember back when we were never apart
But that was before you broke my heart
Once our relationship ended, the flame had died
In your mind I could no longer reside
You forgot about me and all that we had
Love gone sour, friends gone bad
All I wanted was to keep in touch
No dating, no romance, no touching, no love
I may never get that, we may never again be friends
But if we won't then this is the end
No more of this calling me just once a year
If you don't want to be friends, I won't shed a tear
But if we aren't friends, that's it, we're through
I don't ever again want to hear from you
