When you left did you stop to think to think
That maybe, just maybe, you were killing a young girl
And all of her dreams
Her dreams of love and fate and trust
And finding the perfect one
The one she could love for the rest of her life
And give her whole heart to
When I was with you I felt so safe
Like I could die in your arms
But now that you're gone I can't help but think
Where did I go wrong
Did I come on too strong or not strong enough
Did you just tire of me and want something new
Or did your feelings just fade
Whatever it is all I know now
Is you're gone and I'm stuck here to find a new dream
