Surrounded by the sound of a people in worship
We lift up our voices and praise Your name
The sound of the music pounds in my chest
The power of Your Spirit pulses through my veins
The love of Your being pours into my soul
The essence of You falls straight onto me
My heart throbs to the beat of the song
I close my eyes and see Your face
My spirit moves quickly into Your presence
As I raise my hands in surrender to You
Your holy fire burns through me
And I fall to my knees in Your power
You've saved my wretched dying soul
And brought me to Your undying light.
