(the likes of hindsight)

there is so much that i would love to change
some of my old relationships, that resulted in heartache and pain
but isnt that equalling up to selfish gain? ? ?
if i choose to change my past
could i make you and i last? ? ?

my future self would probaly ruin us again
but maybe id be able to once again
rewind time and then
start over, start anew
because no matter how many past lives, i am bound to see us through
i am always and 4ever meant to be with you....
if i made it happen agin, the way i did back when
yet its probaly a good thing, this happened so long ago
then to lose us now, to an ending i would not know
so....

everything happens 4 a reason
this we all know to be true
alas......
everything just needs to be left in the past
even if that means me and you....
