your weapon of choice, is the insult in your voice
you've made a mass weapon out of degrading
me...into a way....every time you speak
every single bitter word that i have heard
and every unnecessary insult i hear
has the same effect as a bullet passing by my ear
for your words are like bullets
to my self-esteem
blowing huge holes through it
by every insult you scream..........

its always a hit, and never a miss
your words form bullets
that always pierce this
i am pointing to my heart
the organ for which
you've blown apart.............
you open your mouth, the guns now cocked
i cover my ears
so the sound
is blocked
i do not want to hear
the bullets passing by.............
another round
coming towards my
heart
another bullet, making its way through it
as it hits.its mark
blowing away another piece
lay down your weapon and cease
degrading me, as i continually
swallow my self worth, my self-esteem
every bullet you shoot, with every word you scream
shooting, aimlessly, madly and blindly
every bullet, has made its way through it
in all of me..........
