see, me.......there
that reflection in the mirror
the tears that i wear
my anguish over this
cannot be.......made any clearer
there........is a belief
that there are 5 stages of grief
and i am passing through
the stage
of anger/rage..........
as my heart lets
go, ......... of you
as my heart, body, and soul
slowly resets

and as my love for you.....dies
with each and every tear, that i cry.........bloodletting
as i try........forgetting
you,
when you stand there
in the mirror
i hope and pray that it is me, that you see
for my suffering, could not be
made any more clearer
by, the tears that i wear
as my heart sheds
bloodlets
and as my heart and mind, begs me, to try
to forget
when there is nothing more to understand
for the love inside, slowly dims, to die
there is no deception, in the reflection
you see, is of me
waving my hand
with a final goodbye
