Cleaning Tips: How to Clean A Hob.

Ceramic and induction hobs are vulnerable to scratches so don't scape the surface or use anything abrasive on it. Wipe off spills as soon as possible, especially sugar and clean off burnt on materials with a special plastic scraper. Follow the manufacture's advice on the best advice for your hob.

Gas hobs can be dismantled somewhat for cleaning. Put pan stands in a dishwasher or soak in a biological laundry detergent and hot water. The burners can be scrubbed with bicarbonate of soda and water and wipe down the base plate with warm soapy water. Polish glass or metal surfaces with a microfibre cloth for smear free clarity.
