today my daddy is coming to see me
As I sit on the rock of heart felt gestures
peering in the wind of pain

Why does he not come. Its my birthday.
The quietness stands still
The question lingers in the air.

Daddy doesn't love me. He doesn't remember me
I need a daddy who does
I'm too guarded in this quest
Too dissappointed to really believe.

Father do you want a relationship with me? No! ! ! ! ! !

But, dad I love you. I love you too. But at this point the answer is no.
Tears sweep the crevisis of my face. I wanted to believe in you I need a daddy who cares. Not just a daddy who says he loves. Love is action. I wanted to be loved. The kind of love that sits me down and says I care.

Dad, I wanted to please you. I wanted to have you believe in me.

Not say I love you but, I do not care......

The father wound continues for another generation. Sorry
