kevin glenn - Coming home

You come home every day just after two o'clock
To a mad house some would say 
And you would agree quite a lot 
But on this particular day 
You pulled up on the drive

The house looks so bear 
it looks like no one's there
You know when you get that feeling 
That your all on your own

When you expect some to be there 
but there isn't, it's just a home
Then you walk through the door 
The only thing you can hear is silence

You think aah piece at last
Just what You need, piece and quiet 
You sit down in your chair 
close your eyes and relax

You Listen to the clock ticking 
And the water dripping from the tap  
To suddenly realise that this is not were Your at
You miss that mad house and the people  
So please hurry back.
