Kesal

KESAL “regret” is a story about a parent child relationship.

It shows how conveniently ignoring children in the midst of a hectic routine has become a norm in the present time.

Kesal highlights the fact that childhood passes quicker than imagined and how a parents time spent with Gods greatest gift could result in a life full of regret.

Directors Message:

I shot my debut film “Kesal” with the intent to deliver an important message using minimal speech.

I would like to thank Trenesha Balakrishnan, Haaris Malik, Fahad Shafique Anwar, Haider Malik, Haamid Malik, my wife Fatimah and most importantly Nasir Khan for their continuous support in this project.

Having no prior experience of film making, many will view “Kesal” and find flaws in it and that’s ok. I simply hope to find parents who would watch “Kesal” and reignite that amazing relationship they once had with their children.

I no longer live with regret.
