Kelsea Osterman - True Friend
10 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
You promised I could always count on you.
That you’d be there for me.
Well here I am in need of you.
And here I am once again alone.
And where are you?
Well you’re off with someone else.
Not having a care in the world.
Not really caring one tiny bit about me.
I was your shoulder when you need it.
I helped you in every way I could.
I was there 24/7,365.
And what have you done in return?
Nothing.
That’s right you have done nothing for me.
You’ve left me here once again alone.
You left me here to solve my own problems.
And once again I don’t have a shoulder to cry on.
And guess what.
I’m sick of it.
I’m sick of coming second.
Second to him.
I’m tired of being of used.
Of being used and then being tossed to the side.
That is until you need me again.
Then you tell me a bunch of lies,
Saying you’ll be there for me.
And I just can’t take it anymore.
I can’t take the hurt you are putting me through.
I can’t stand the idea of not talking to you.
But I will not come second.
I will not be a door mat for you.
I want to be there for you.
But I’m no longer going call you friend.
If you can’t be a true a friend.
If you can’t be there for me.
So next time he hurts you,
And I’m not there.
Maybe you’ll realize what I really meant to you.
Maybe you’ll regret what happen.
And maybe just maybe you’ll see that I was a true friend.
