kayleigh 2007 - remember

life is a fleeting thought
the future passes so fast
and yet we spend most of
our lives stuck in the past
remember when everything was so simple
when you didn't have to think
about what you have to next
when all you cared about
was having a good time
when you where so innocent
when your heart didn't hurt
when you could breath
instead of holding your breath
just so it doesn't hurt
remember when the cuts on your arms
where because of a game that went wrong
and not because the pain became so hard
you need a something else to think of
remember when life was perfect
or did it ever really did we just
realize there's no point wondering
remember when friends didn't betray
remember the last time your laughed so hard
your belly hurt
i do remember those time and that what hurt the most
but am tired of living in the past we grow up so fast
so to all the kids out there live life and make loads of memory's
cause before you no it life is something you used to have
