Karnataka traders left in lurch after plastic ban
Description
Karnataka (Hubli), May 18 (ANI): The trader community in Karnataka is stressed after the Karnataka government on March 11 passed strict orders on banning plastic in the region. The traders believe that this step will only profit the Multinational Corporations (MNC's) as the ban is not extended to the companies who sell packaged products. On the one hand, the government is trying its best to get environment rid of polythene and on the other hand buyers and sellers are finding it hard to let go off the microthin bags as it is creating unemployment also.
