The super fish that has now retired
No longer to challenge the rest of the world
For their swim records
For Thopie has broken them all
I wish I were like Thorpie
With his gargantuan size 17 feet
And his brace of medals
From The Commonwealth to the Olympiads
I wish I were like thorpie
The supermodel
Gracing the catwalks with his own clothing line
And his million-dollar enterprise
I wish I were Thorpie
So I could swim and swim and swim
Instead of always sitting on the sidelines
Of The pool
Waiting for everyone, watching everyone else
Enjoying themselves
For alas I can’t swim!
