Joseph Markowitz SC | Addiction Psychiatrist

Dr. Joseph Markowitz is an addiction psychiatrist living in SC who spent many years working with veterans struggling with drug addictions at the James A. Haley Veteran’s Hospital. In his personal life, Dr. Joseph Markowitz had to undergo painful back surgery, providing him with unique insight in regard to how pain can alter people and make him more effective. Since moving to SC, Dr. Joseph Markowitz has participated in a number of associations, including the SC Psychiatric Association, to continue raising awareness on the unique issues that veterans face.
