at the end,
you tend to critique
yourself.
find ways to change, and

perfect yourself.

to become whatever you have to be
to make somebody
want you.

searching for something to fix
when you never knew

it was broken.

but it's not your fault at all.
it's theirs.
yeah, they'll surely tell you that.

but there has to be something!
that wasn't quite
good enough.

then again, i suppose
if they can't love every
flaw

then maybe
they don't deserve you


at all.
