JNU row: Umar return to campus, cops hover outside
Description
New Delhi, Feb 22 (ANI): Five students of Jawaharlal Nehru University, including Umar Khalid, who were being looked by the police for making ‘anti-national’ statements on the campus earlier, surfaced at the varsity on Sunday. The five students, Umar Khalid, Anirban Bhattacharya, Rama Naga, Ashutosh Kumar and Anant Prakash, had gone missing since February 12 after JNU Student Union president leader Kanhaiya Kumar was arrested on sedition charges. Khalid was seen addressing over 200 students outside the administration block on Sunday night. Police teams have been positioned outside the University and have been asked to wait for the students to surrender themselves.
