You placed me in a cage
A cage with no bars
A cage with no doors
A cage you created in my mind
When I fell in love with you
I let you inside of my heart and soul
You use it against me
To keep me under your spell
To keep me in this cell that I abhor
You put me in
You take me out
In a cycle I can't decipher
You break my heart
You put it back together
Time and time again
The cycle continues
It probobly won't end
You don't see how you hurt me
If you do, you have no care
I love you and can't break away
So you'll continue to set me free
Only to cage me up again
And while I'm in my cage
I will continue to ponder why I let this happen
How to break this cycle
But one thing I know is
I will continue to love and hate you
For all time
