Jazzmuseum Bix Eiben in Hamburg - Part 1

The major part of the collection is housed in a building of 900 m² floor space, but which originally had not been planned to be used as a museum.
For this reason, the collections which had been stored in different separated locations for lack of space, could only be integrated in the new building by dispatching them into the different available rooms.

Approximate account of the materials.

We finally accomplished our goal (November 2008) to get an overview of the account of the museum's materials. The main work is done, after two years of ambitously trying to reorganizing, document and archiving our materials which we have collected within the last 50 years.
