Jaylen Brown Postgame Interview | Celtics vs Hornets

Jaylen Brown was interviewed postgame after the Celtics’ 120-111 win vs the Charlotte Hornets. Brown talked about the team’s improved effort, his 20-point first quarter, and Aaron Nesmith’s breakout game.
Brown made some comments after last night’s game about the team’s lack of urgency. The Celtics looked better tonight on that front and he was asked about it postgame. “That was a good sense of urgency by us,” he stated. “We still have a ways to go in terms of our consistency but tonight was a good win for us.”
The All-Star exploded in the first quarter, scoring 20 points in the first quarter alone to help Boston jump out to an early lead. He was asked about his ability to back up his statements from the night prior with such a hot first quarter. “That’s what it’s about, getting it done, turning it up a notch, hitting that next gear… season’s on the line, we got to play with that urgency,” he said. “I got to come to play every single night.”
Lastly, Brown commented on Aaron Nesmith’s breakout game. ”Man great kid, he plays extremely hard,” said Brown. “He works his ass off… I love having him on the floor… he makes mistakes sometimes, but he makes mistakes going 100% and I’ll take that.”
