Eclipse the moon
Blank out it’s nighttime brilliance
The stars fade, their magic dull
Darkness screaming for light

Light hidden and elusive
Fragile and scared of abuse
Longing for the balance of it’s partner
Just as the human heart, longs for it’s other beat

One cannot exist without the other
A heart cannot cease to love
Unless ones love is not returned
Painfully empty, the darkness prevails

Darkness cannot exist without the light
Good cannot exist without evil
Sweet cannot exist without bitter
And love cannot exist without you.
