I’ve paid for all the crimes I’ve done
Throughout my dreary life
I’ve paid for all the thoughts I’ve had
About the gleaming knife

I’ve paid for all the times I’ve cared
About somebody new
I’ve paid for all my darkest dreams
And now they’re coming true

For all the times I’ve sat alone
And cried in silent pain
For all the times I’ve played too much
And thought life was a game

I’m paying all my dudes in full
For all of my mistakes
I’m paying for all the lies I’ve told
When truth is all it takes
