James Grengs - (Untitled)

Description
As fragrant as the new-bloomed rose;
Your soft eyes shine as polished metal;
You are the most perfect thing that in God's garden grows.
More soft and gently, yes, than any;
More loving, sure, than most;
To say 'I love you, ' then, must surely be a boast.
This humble poem I give you,
Please throw it not away;
Instead, for you to keep it with you,
Would surely make my day.
I love you much, you see,
Though I hardly know you,
And you hardly know me.
